Avitus® Orthopedics, Inc. is a medical device company developing new instruments and materials for minimally invasive surgery. It was established in 2011 by spine surgeons and biomedical engineers from Johns Hopkins University who were trying to create a more effective method for autologous bone graft harvest. Avitus was established with the mission to develop new orthopedic technologies to improve the clinical outcomes of patients while reducing cost compared to currently available procedures and devices.
